Laminate is composed of several layers bonded by resin under high heat and pressure, which creates a high degree of stability and fortification.

• Layer 1: Overlay

The uppermost layer is consisted of a special layer of transparent material (Melamine resins) to stabilize the surface, easily clean/ maintenance and protect against water, wear, tear, scratch, bacteria and termite impregnation, as well as chemical impact.

• Layer 2: Decorative paper is printed with wood grains.

A wide diversity of color and grains ranging from vivid and vibrant to luxurious and elegant dark colors selected from various natural woods will undoubtedly satisfy needs and demands of customers. Under the impact of pressure and heat at high temperature (220 degree Celsius), the first layer melts down and bonds with the decorative layer resulting in a constant surface with color and wood grains remained unchanged.

• Layer 3: Kraft paper is comprised of 3 layers, each of which is 0.2 mm in thickness.

Under the impact of pressure at high temperature, the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th layer is closely tied with each other. Kraft paper is produced by combining the paper powder with chemicals during the heating process in order to link the cellulose together while retaining all characteristics of cellulose. The kraft paper is durable, tough and crude. Its weight is 50 – 135 g/m2 and its usual color is brown or grey, but if necessary, it can be bleached with chemical substances.
